Academic Qualifications:
• A Levels: AAB.
• International Baccalaureate Doplma (IB): 35 (6,6,5 HL).
• GCSE\IGCSE: A minimum of 5 GCSE grades 9 – 6 (A*-B) including 6/B in Maths and English Language is required.
• Thanweya: Students who have studied the Tawjihiyah/Thanawiya amma (General Secondary Education Certificate) will need to complete a suitable Foundation Year.
• US High School Diploma: A GPA of 3.2/4.0 in the High School Graduation Diploma is required, along with a combination of any three of the following:
– Advanced Placement (AP) Exam
– IB Higher Level subjects
– College-level class credit (typically taken in Grade 12 for one semester and equivalent to 3 credits/units in an academic subject)
– Honors classes (taken for a full academic year in either Grade 11 or Grade 12)
Where a course requires a specific A Level subject, the requirement must be met through the corresponding AP exam or IB Higher Level subject. If fulfilling an A Level Maths requirement through AP, AP Calculus BC is necessary.
For programmes requiring achievement in GCSE Maths, a score of 570 or higher in SAT I Math, or an ACT score of at least 27 overall with 26 in each component, is normally expected.
English Language Requirements:
• IELTS: English language requirement is 6.5 overall with 6.0 in each individual element (reading, writing, listening and speaking).
• TOEFL iBT: Overall score of 92, with not less than 22 in each test.
• Pearson PTE: Overall score of 67, with not less than 63 in each sub-test.
• Duolingo English Test: Overall score of 120 with not less than 105 in each integrated and individual sub-test.
• LanguageCert Academic SELT: Overall score of 70 with not less than 65 in each test.
• LanguageCert ESOL SELT: SELT C1:Pass overall (listening, reading, writing, speaking combined) with no sub-test lower than 33 out of 50.
• Cambridge English: Proficiency (CPE): C/200.
• Cambridge English: Advanced (CAE): C/180.
• Cambridge English: First (CFE): A.
